About Us

WHA Information Center is dedicated to collecting and disseminating complete, accurate and timely data about charges and services provided by Wisconsin hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.

WHA Information Center is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Wisconsin Hospital Association. It was incorporated on October 1, 2003, and began collecting data in January 2004 under a contract with the Wisconsin Department of Administration.

WHA Information Center Staff:

Joseph Kachelski, Vice President, Information Center
Oversees Information Center data collection, processing and reporting

Julie Callies, RHIA, Director, Information Center
Directly supervises WHAIC staff, manages special projects, oversees sales and customer service.

Cindy Case, Manager, Information Center
Manager of coding, compliance and education.

Bob Metzig, Database Administrator
Database maintenance and programming.

Luv Passi, Senior Developer
Programming of WIpop, PricePoint and hospital survey applications.

Glenna Orsbin, Senior Data Analyst
Maintains database, processes data, fulfills data requests. Provides technical assistance for data submitters.

Brian Competente, Data Analyst
Coordinates communications with facilities regarding survey submission, data validation and affirmation processes.
