About Us

WHA Information Center is dedicated to collecting and disseminating complete, accurate and timely data about charges and services provided by Wisconsin hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.

WHA Information Center is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Wisconsin Hospital Association. It was incorporated on October 1, 2003, and began collecting data in January 2004 under a contract with the Wisconsin Department of Administration.

WHA Information Center Staff:

Debbie Rickelman, Vice President , Information Center
Responsible for overall direction and oversight of WHAIC Operations, including hospital data collection and dissemination requirements, and compliance activites.

Brian Competente, Manager, WHAIC Operations
Responsible for data sales and coordinates communications with facilities regarding survey submission, data validation and affirmation processes.

Cindy Case, Manager, Information Center
Manager of coding, compliance and education.

Jim Cahoy, Senior Database Administrator
Database maintenance and programming.

Alistair Carr, Senior Health Care Data Analyst
Provides technical service for quality improvement in WHAIC in collaboration with the WHA Quality Department.

Dan Nagle, Developer
Provides development on WHA Information Center web applications.

Suzanne Staudenmayer, Administrative Assistant
Provides support to the WHA Information Center.
